RCC Resort Management Solution

Your first resort for timeshare and hospitality management

From its early beginnings as one of the first resort management applications available to today’s state-of-the-art solution, RCC leverages years of industry experience and customizations while incorporating the latest technologies available today.

Serving the Resort and Hospitality Industry for Over 40 Years

Synergex has unique, long-standing ties to the timeshare industry. In 1980, Dennis Togerson and Duane Dobbs recognized the need for software to serve the growing timeshare sector and founded Resort Computer Corporation (RCC). They turned to the Synergy DBL programming language to get the job done. By the time they sold RCC in 1995, over 500 resorts worldwide ran on RCC software. Synergex acquired the package in 2012, bringing on additional talent to support the expanding customer base. Many large RCC end users now run highly customized versions of the software. Four decades of development and expansion have enhanced the original RCC software to encompass all aspects of resort management and ownership.

Everything You Need and More

RCC is completely customizable to meet your unique requirements. Whether you just need to track leads or manage reservations or you require a comprehensive resort management package, RCC offers an integrated solution to streamline your operations. Select the individual modules you require or use them all—RCC provides everything the timeshare industry needs in one coordinated system.

Contracts

The timeshare industry is complex and always evolving, with new ownership types added frequently. RCC handles the contract process for nearly every ownership type in the market, including odd/even, fractional, floating inventory, whole ownership, points, and vacation clubs, and it supports complex, user-configurable document generation. A back-end contract account module strictly enforces proper ledgers for sales revenue and costs. Comprehensive commission processing tracks holdbacks and draws as well as individual commission sheets.

Finance

RCC offers the modules you need to ensure financial success:

  • Track mortgages, maintenance fees, hotel direct billing, and travel agent accounts.
  • Generate owner statements and checks.
  • Calculate loan interest, integrate with lockbox batches, hypothecate loans to multiple lenders, and manage multi-lender reporting using a variety of late charge and service fee algorithms.
  • Generate delinquency reports to facilitate the collection of past due amounts.
  • Electronically transmit 1098 and 1099 information directly to the IRS.

Hospitality / property management

Our extensive property management system performs check-in/check-out operations for guests, maintains guest folios, manages and tracks housekeeping services, and runs fully automated night audit postings.

Club memberships

Track vacation club memberships and points, support multiple membership types with different rules and usage windows, and streamline the collection of transaction fees with RCC’s comprehensive Club system.

Reservations

RCC’s vibrant central reservations system can manage inventory for an unlimited number of properties of varying ownership types, including mixed usage, with allocations tightly integrated with the Contracts and Club systems. RCC also supports many types of owner rental programs.

Marketing and leads tracking

Capitalize on your marketing opportunities using RCC’s exceptional leads tracking system to assess the effectiveness of your marketing programs and proactively contact and follow up with prospects. Integrated with the Reservations and Tours systems, this module books promotional stays and helps you turn reservations into leads and leads into reservations.

Sales analysis

RCC delivers powerful multi-level reporting on sales, tour statistics, gross and net volume, and pender activity. Every component of the sales process can be broken down and reported on, including marketing programs, sources, promotions, operators, salespeople, outside public contacts (OPC), and marketing companies. Control inventory, process contracts, generate invoices, and post payments for deposits, maintenance dues, commissions, and escrow activities.

Tours

Manage all tour-related transactions, including booking, checking in and out, assigning multiple salespeople, attaching premiums, tracking OPC sources, and processing commissions.

Integration with other systems

No man is an island, and neither is RCC! Connect and share data with virtually any type of hotel device, from PBX and POS to key cards and mini bars.

Doers in Action

A few years ago, RCC used Harmony Core to create a RESTful web service and provide customer Legacy Vacation Resorts (LVR) with a new web portal. Learn how RCC modernized their solution to provide an online check-in process for LVR, so guests could have a safer experience and minimize interaction with front desk agents.

Alex Smith
Chief of Staff, Legacy Vacation Resorts

“At the end of the [RCC] project, we have an attractive, fully functional self-check-in website tailored to the specific needs of our resorts. Our guests have responded positively and are appreciative that they have this option. Leveraging Harmony Core to expose our data and logic within the RCC application has opened up possibilities for us that I didn’t think were possible in a custom, legacy software application.”
