May 19, 2023VS 2019 Will Be Deprecated in SDI Effective Aug. 31
June 23, 2023Our latest release of Synergy DBL Integration for Visual Studio (SDI) delivers better stability, improved performance, and support for the latest Visual Studio version—all to provide you with a better developer experience. Here’s what’s new:
Visual Studio 17.6 Support: We’re keeping up with the latest from Microsoft so you can leverage the newest features and improvements from Microsoft’s flagship IDE.
Synergy .NET Compiler Performance Improvements: These provide faster build times, allowing you to iterate and test your code more efficiently. Preliminary testing shows up to 40% improvement in build performance depending on what areas of the compiler are utilized. Specifically optimized are extension methods, generic type construction, type matching, and similar.
More Multi-threading Refinement: Enhancements to general multi-threading and exception handling provide better stability and performance of the build system.
Fix for Intermittent Deadlock / Visual Studio Crashes: This fix enhances the stability of your development environment, letting you focus on coding without disruptions.
We encourage all users to upgrade to benefit from these improvements. Also, please share your thoughts on this release or anything SDI-related by emailing software development manager Tim Bauguess at tim.bauguess@synergex.com. Your feedback is crucial to us; we would love to hear from you!
