Used by counties across New Jersey to manage benefits services, Synergex Assist (formerly AOSS) was acquired by Synergex in 2022. Since then, we’ve focused on stabilization, modernization, and ongoing support for our New Jersey county customers.
This case study highlights the Morris County, NJ, Office of Temporary Assistance (OTA) and their use of Synergex Assist to streamline case management and enhance service delivery. With about 170 staff members, the OTA serves over 300 customers daily—individuals seeking temporary assistance and social services due to job or housing loss, food insecurity, illness, other personal circumstances, or cataclysmic events like fires or storms. With Synergex Assist, the OTA has realized ongoing efficiencies in operations and has created an improved experience for the people they serve.
