July 6, 2023New Case Study: Ag Supply Company Modernizes Container Tracking System
August 3, 2023We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new SDI build, 2023.07.1357. This version is now available for download from the Synergex Resource Center, bringing along several crucial enhancements and fixes.
Visual Studio 2022 17.7 Support: We implemented changes to ensure loading of Synergy projects and to add stability with Visual Studio 17.7. You must upgrade SDI to have support for Visual Studio 17.7!
General Visual Studio Updates: We now support the Visual Studio default IntelliSense completion mode of “Tab-only”. An issue that caused incorrect purple squiggles for invalid UNTKNWN errors in Synergy .NET projects has been resolved. User interface elements on the SDI Update window now adapt better to different Visual Studio themes. We’ve made several other important changes including fixes to prevent exceptions in Visual Studio when changing branches for a loaded .NET project.
Synergy .NET Compiler Updates: The Synergy .NET compiler now provides enhanced error reporting for E_RESXBUILD errors, offering first line details for easier troubleshooting. Moreover, a new feature to report an E_INVQUAL error during instantiation of a generic class from another assembly has been introduced, and ACCVIO errors will no longer occur when instantiating a method outside of a class.
Final Visual Studio 2019 Release: This will be the final release of SDI that supports Visual Studio 2019. See our previous VS 2019 announcement for information about why we’re making this change. Although the previous announcement specified August 31 as the cut-off date, today’s release will actually be the last to support VS 2019.
As always, we encourage you to update to this latest version and keep your SDI builds current.
