August 7, 2024Our latest SDI build, version 2024.07.1696, is now available for download in the Synergex Resource Center. This release delivers significant improvements, including critical fixes to support Start Debugging in Visual Studio 2022 17.10, restore conditional breakpoints in Synergy .NET and .NET Framework projects, improve “red squiggle” error adornment, and resolve intermittent Visual Studio crashes.
What’s New:
IntelliSense
- Removed extraneous “Synergy” folder from “Edit > IntelliSense > Surround With”.
- Resolved ambiguous red squiggle error adornment appearing based on other open files.
- Eliminated intermittent crashes while editing files in traditional projects.
Compiler
- Addressed compiler seg fault caused by returning literal into boxed alpha array.
- Fixed access violation when overloaded methods having a parameter of array of boxed bytes.
- Resolved unexpected missing method exception at runtime when using JsonElement indexer.
- Corrected unexpected type mismatch failures in unedited code after updating SDI / compilers.
Debugger
- Restored start debugging functionality in Visual Studio 2022 version 17.10.
- Conditional breakpoints are now working again in Synergy .NET / .NET Framework projects.
Project and Template Management (NuGet)
- Corrected filename in Traditional Unit Test project template during dotnet new.
- Fixed import issues in .dbl file created with .NET Unit Test project during dotnet new.
- Added support for more dotnet.exe CLI operations with Synergy Project Types.
General Fixes
- Prevented unexpected errors when building too quickly with PropertyPages open.
- Ensured ProblemManager.log is cleaned up appropriately.
