Invalid relative record

One of the following has occurred:

• You’ve attempted to read a record that hasn’t been written yet (or that is corrupted on OpenVMS).
• The record found in a file opened as relative does not match the record length specified.
• A relative record on Windows does not have CRLF at the end, or a relative record on Unix does not end with LF.
