SYNDLOG

Alternate License Manager debug log file

The SYNDLOG environment variable specifies an alternate location and name for the Synergy/DE License Manager debug log file, synd.log.

Value

The directory path and name of the log file you want to create. The default is /usr/lib/synd.log or, if that location cannot be written to, /var/synergy/synd.log.

Discussion

If the SYNDLOG value exceeds 96 characters, /usr/lib/synd.log (or /var/synergy/synd.log) is used.
