The VORTEX_TCP_KEEPALIVE environment variable sets the keepalive timer for the client and server parts of SQL Connection and xfODBC.
Value
The desired keepalive timer setting in seconds.
Discussion
The Connectivity Series installation automatically sets this environment variable and we don’t recommend changing it. By default it is set to 600 (10 minutes), which reduces the delay before a broken socket is detected. This setting affects only Connectivity products; it does not change the OS keepalive timer setting.
