Data Security and Encryption
Synergy/DE enables you to make your data secure at the application level as well as when it is transferred over a network. On Unix and OpenVSM, all Synergy/DE encryption features interface with a third-party library, OpenSSL, to provide SSL support. As of Synergy/DE 12, Windows no longer users OpenSSL; it uses either Schannel or CNG, depending on the feature. See the specific features listed in “See also” below .
