Arguments
name
A string that contains the OpenVMS terminal name. (a)
number
Returned with the terminal number. (n)
Discussion
The TT_NAME_TO_NUMBER subroutine converts an OpenVMS terminal name to its equivalent Synergy DBL terminal number.
The conversion algorithm is the same as that used by the deprecated %TNMBR routine to determine the initiating terminal number.
