System option #48 signals the Synergy runtime to allocate the necessary memory for SQL Connection. You can also set option #48 using %OPTION. When using %OPTION, SQL Connection is only initialized when %OPTION gets option #48, and SQL Connection is shut down, releasing resources, when option #48 is not set. Using %OPTION allows only those programs using SQL Connection to use extra resources; using system option #48 allows all programs to use extra resources.
