Set number of process local I/O buffers

BUFNUM:number

Arguments

number

The number of process local I/O buffers in the range 0 through 127. (n)

Discussion

The BUFNUM qualifier notifies RMS of the number of process local I/O buffers.

If BUFNUM is not specified or has a value of zero, the process default for the particular file organization is used. If the process default is also zero, the system default is used.
