File definitions determine which files can be accessed through Repository and which structures can be used to access them. Key definitions can be associated with each structure. To use Repository with xfODBC or ReportWriter, you’ll need to specify which files contain your data and assign the structures you’ve defined to those files. You can define up to 9,999 files; each file may have multiple structures (up to 200) assigned to it.
