Using Temporary Fields

Temporary fields are fields that do not exist in a file, but are used by ReportWriter for such things are holding information supplied by the user and performing calculations. Temporary fields can be selected for printing and sorting and used in a selection criterion or conditional. Numeric temporary fields can also be used as an arrayed field subscript, as a range value, or in a calculation expression.
