Conveniently spread out over two weeks and without the hassle and expense of travel, this year's conference is accessible to more Synergy developers than ever before. Choose from a high-level-focused executive track, or the full conference, which includes more granular technical sessions. Important REV11 licensing Info This year we’re having you update your systems that have Synergy/DE subscription licenses to REV11 licensing. This applies to production systems using Synergy/DE 9.5.3b or higher on REV11-supported platforms. You can update to REV11 licensing either by upgrading to Synergy/DE version 11 (preferred) or by installing the REV11 licensing upgrade package (LUP). If you’ve already installed LUP on any systems, update to the newly released 11.1.1g version of LUP for important quality improvements. If you installed LUP on a Synergy/DE version lower than 9.5.3b, update to a higher Synergy/DE version or uninstall LUP. If you’re using Synergy/DE version 11, update to 11.1.1g for REV11 quality improvements, especially on Linux systems to solve potential issues during system reboot. Also, we highly recommend that you update to REV11 licensing early. There’s no need to wait until your renewal. In fact, it will make things easier because after Customer Service processes your renewal, your product keys will update automatically. To determine if your platform supports REV11 licensing, go to our Platforms page and see if your operating system is supported by Synergy/DE version 11. (If you’re not sure what Synergy/DE version you’re using, see our documentation.) TECH ARTICLE Stories from Synergex: Achieving DevOps through Continuous IntegrationBy Nick Tammadge, Jr. Software Engineer in Test DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment are often talked about like silver bullets to solve the woes of development and operations when it comes to software development. At Synergex, we have been working on achieving DevOps (whether we knew it or not) since 2018, and it’s still a work in progress. Continuous integration, the practice of making and testing incremental changes frequently, has been the driving force behind our shift to a DevOps culture, and this is some of how we’re making that transition.
