The SYN_VSS_WATCH_PATH environment variable defines the path where the SynergyVSSWriter service will watch for Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) events.
Value
The path for the directory where SynergyVSSWriter will watch for VSS events to occur. The default is C:\.
Discussion
When a system file backup is started manually or automatically in the specified path with either the default file specification or one specified bySYN_VSS_WATCH_FILE, SynergyVSSWriter will be invoked.
